How it Works

Step by step guidance for your Milford Track Journey

You’ve booked your hut, now it’s time to figure out the logistics. Luckily we’re
here to make that easy for you so you can relax and enjoy the journey.
1
Walking the Milford Track

The Milford Track is a 53.5 km, 3 night/4 days walk through some of New Zealand’s most dramatic landscapes, including ancient beech forests, alpine valleys, and iconic waterfalls.

Walkers begin at Glade Wharf, where the track enters Fiordland National Park, and finish at Milford Sound. Our transport ensures you arrive on time, ready to enjoy every step.

What you need to take with you
  • Your Milford Track hut pass confirmation – this is very important. You cannot board the boat without it
  • Pack and gear suitable for walking multi-day tracks
  • Weather-appropriate clothing, including layers and rain gear
  • Sturdy hiking boots
  • Enough food for four days on track

Tip: Pack efficiently, the boat and coach have luggage limits in line with Milford Track requirements.
