We are a family-owned and operated business with more than 35 years of experience operating in Fiordland. Over that time, we have supported thousands of walkers travelling through this region and developed a deep understanding of the environment, the weather, and the practical details that make travel here run smoothly.

About Milford Track Transport

Milford Track Transport provides safe, reliable boat and coach transfers for walkers travelling to and from the Milford Track. Our service is designed around the needs of walkers, with a simple focus: to provide safe, reliable, and comfortable transport that supports your journey on one of the world’s great walks.

Our vessel is a large, purpose-built catamaran with capacity for up to 90 passengers. Onboard toilets and tea and coffee facilities provide a stable and comfortable crossing in a range of lake conditions.

We work closely with the Department of Conservation to care for and maintain the tracks and the environment we are privileged to operate in. We also partner with conservation groups to help protect and preserve local wildlife.
